Dr. Chris Blevins
Dr. Chris Blevins is originally from South Pittsburg, Tennessee. He is a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He received his bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 2004. Prior to joining Animal Health Clinic, Dr. Blevins practiced small animal medicine in middle Tennessee and north Alabama. He is married to Whitney and they have two young boys, Lane and Connor and a black Labrador named Casey and a cat named PJ. Dr.Blevins and his family are members of First Baptist Church in Manchester. Dr. Blevins special interest in veterinary medicine is orthopedics and internal medicine. When not working, Dr. Blevins enjoys cycling, running, swimming and watching college football. Dr. Blevins feels very blessed to be part of such a wonderful profession.
Dr. Makenzie McCarty
Dr. Makenzie McCarty is originally from Winchester, Tennessee. She is a 2018 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She also received a bachelor's degree in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee in 2014. Go Vols! Dr. McCarty's professional interests include ophthalmology, orthopedics, and pain management. When she's not working, Dr. McCarty enjoys bike riding, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. At home, Dr. McCarty has a Basset Hound named Hattie Mae, and a cat named Georgia. Dr. McCarty is so excited to be joining the Animal Health Clinic family!
Rhonda Holland has worked at AHC as the head receptionist since 2004. She was born in Texas and graduated from Sam Houston High School in Arlington in 1985. She has three children and two grandchildren. Rhonda enjoys P90X3 and the outdoors, especially kayaking, hiking, crafts, and spending time with her wonderful granddaughter Shaylee. Rhonda has a Yorkie named Holly and a Biewer Yorkie named Weego.
Courtney Reed is one of our receptionists at Animal Health Clinic. She has been working at AHC since 2012. Courtney is married to Travis who is a judicial commissioner for Coffee County. They are the proud parents of Garrison. Courtney enjoys kayaking, raising chickens, riding backroads in her jeep, working in the garden, and coon hunting with her dad. She also enjoys a great cup of Black Rifle coffee with her two rottweilers, Buford and Frances every morning.
Emily Hollis graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2011 with a Bacherlor Degree in Animal Science. She then completed a wildlife rehabilitation internship at the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge in Okaloosa Island, FL. When She returned to Tennessee, she took a job as a veterinary technician at an animal hospital in Murfreesboro. She worked there for almost five years as a technician before returning to her hometown of Manchester at Animal Health Clinic. Emily shares two dogs with her sister, Bella and Gracie. When not at work, she enjoys spending time outside, cooking, traveling, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
Originally from New York and recently from Pennsylvania, Linda Grose and her husband, Glenn, now reside in Hillsboro. They have a happy family of three pugs, one cat and one horse. Prior to working with animals, Linda enjoyed a long career in dental care. She enjoys riding her horse as well as teaching riding, collecting antiques, teaching Bible studies, and working with children and youth in ministry. She has participated in Sidewalk Sunday School in inner New York City and sponsors 4 children.
Ashton Garner started as a tech at AHC in March of 2019. She is from Estill Springs and graduated from Franklin County High School. Ashton enjoys kayaking, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. She has a Shepherd mix named Jozi and a cat named Frisko.
A Manchester native, Donna has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Tennessee Technological University and is married to Jeff Enis. They have two children, Garrett and Lila. Donna began her vet tech career in Huntsville, AL, and then took time off to be a stay-at-home mom. She likes to hike, read, and travel with her family. They own a dog and are employed by four cats.
Dallas Neal works at AHC as a veterinary technician. She has worked in veterinary clinics all over middle Tennessee for the last seven years, and is happy to be settled in practice close to home. Dallas lives in Mcminnville with her husband Cameron. When not working she enjoys spending time on their farm, going to the lake and relaxing with family.
James joined the AHC team in October 2019 as a medical assistant. Prior to joining AHC, he worked at a veterinary hospital in Nashville for 23 years. James began working in the veterinary field part-time while completing a
B.A. in History at M.T.S.U. Upon graduation, he began working full-time as a veterinary medical assistant and has pursued that rewarding and challenging career for 19 years.
A Manchester native, James moved home in 2000. After making the commute to Nashville for 19 years, he feels truly blessed to have found a place at AHC.
When not taking care of pets, James and wife Susan enjoy visiting Civil War battlefields, watching their beloved Green Bay Packers, and spoiling their beagle/boxer mix Daisy Jane. Daisy was brought home from a shelter in
January 2019 and has helped fill the void left by the passing of their cherished beagle hound of 10 years- Bessie Mae.
Jennifer joined AHC team as a kennel technician in October 2019. She is from Lynchburg, TN and graduated from Moore County High School and Motlow State Community College. She enjoys spending time with her friends and
family, including her new daughter, Elizabeth. She has had a love for animals since she was a small child and loves helping with rescue.
Stephanie Sisco has worked as a pet groomer for 6 years. She is originally from Ohio, but moved to Manchester in 2013. She joined Animal Health Clinic in 2016 as a pet groomer. She and her husband Josh, are parents to three young daughters.
Kelly Carver works at AHC as a groomer. She is an avid animal lover with years of experience working with animals. She enjoys making your dog look and feel its best!
